The ‘gay propaganda’ law recently signed into law by Russian
President Vladamir Putin has put the 2014 Olympic games under a cloud of growing controversy. Outrage around the globe has been building, and recent high-profile protests
such as Stoli vodka dumping in New York City are likely be just the beginning.
As former Olympians like Johnny Weir and celebs like Stephen Fry and even Lady Gaga chime in, buzz of a boycott of the
games will only grow louder. Do you think a boycott is the most effective way to
fight Russia’s anti-gay laws? Take our poll, and leave your comments!
The athletes should go to the Olympics, but then defy the law and on camera, make a statement this law is unacceptable, period... anyone who got arrested would be a global hero, well worth it!
